Biography of John Cox |

|
John H. Cox is Executive Director of the Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association of the U.S. (FEMA). Founded in 1909, FEMA is the national association of the U.S. flavor industry. John commenced supporting TRG clients in 2000. In 2005, he established the Law Offices of John H. Cox, PLLC, with a practice focusing on non-profit law and governance, food and drug law, intellectual property, import/export regulations, occupational safety & health, environmental compliance, and alcoholic beverage law. John also serves as the General Counsel to the Fragrance Materials Association of the U.S., and the International Association of Color Manufacturers. Both associations are managed by The Roberts Group. Before joining The Roberts Group, John held key positions on Capitol Hill with the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Newt Gingrich (R-GA), and U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL). He also worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. John has a B.A. in English from Spring Hill College and a J.D. from the University Of Alabama School Of Law. He is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and Georgia. John and his wife Francessa live in Virginia.
